Are you interested in working with operational purchasing? Do you like order and tidiness, freedom with responsibility and a daily life with speed and pace? We are now looking for a new operational purchaser for our committed and service-minded purchasing team. Maybe it’s you we’re looking for?

Areas of responsibility

As a buyer at Jaco, you take on an important role in ensuring a well-functioning material supply for our production. In collaboration with the rest of the purchasing team, project managers and warehouse staff, you ensure that production is provided with consumables and inputs for customer-specific projects. In your role as a purchaser, you are responsible for ensuring that the purchases are made at the right price, meet quality requirements and are delivered in accordance with production planning.

Education and qualifications

We require that you have at least a high school education, preferably supplemented with a couple of years of experience in purchasing. Our production focuses on manufacturing and assembly in electricity and mechanics. If you have an interest in these areas, it is a merit for the position, but it is not a requirement. We attach great importance to personal qualities such as the ability to work together, flexibility and a sense of responsibility. Social skills are important in order to be able to develop and maintain good business relationships with suppliers. We work with national as well as international customers and suppliers. A good knowledge of Swedish and English is necessary because the position requires good communication skills. Experience of working in Excel, Word and the Monitor business system is an advantage.
